Forschungszentrum Jülich and JOYCE excursion

The Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), the Jülich Observatory for Cloud Evolution (JOYCE), the In-service Aircraft for a Global Observing System – a European Research Infrastructure (IAGOS-ERI) and the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) invite to an afternoon visit. A round trip is offered by bus for up to 28 participants, where start and end of the activity would be the Campus Poppelsdorf. The trip begins at 1pm and is likely to end at 7pm. Confirmed participants will receive more information in August. Moreover, they must provide personal information (First and last name, citizenship, date of birth) for reasons of security at FZJ. All participants should carry a valid photo ID and facemasks necessary for certain occasions, for example in the guardhouse or the elevators. Please be prepared for certain scenarios regarding corona restrictions, such as health questionnaires or the proof of vaccination.
