The goal of this presentation award is to select posters which stand out for their clear communication, but also to highlight new innovative approaches to poster presentations which can also include audio and video elements. We will award outstanding examples that communicate scientific content also to non-specialists of the presented topic in a way that enthuses, inspires, and well explains the subject and results. Only posters and presentations which appear attractive and rank high in the communication criteria (see below) will be taken into further consideration for the evaluation from a scientific point of view.
The author(s) of the selected presentation will receive one registration fee waiver for the EMS Annual Meeting 2023, and the posters are highlighted on the EMS-website.
A selection committee of at least five experienced scientists is established each year.
To participate in the innovative poster presentation award competition, authors need to register their participation. The corresponding link will be sent to contact authors in the letter of schedule. Authors must upload the digital presentation until 29 August 2022. The upload link will become available from 9 August 2022.
Authors applying for the innovative poster presentation award have to upload the presentation as display material to the EMS2022 conference page until 29 August 2022.
